2017-18 Award Letter Notifications Begin for Incoming Students

Did you apply to Rutgers for fall 2017?

If you applied to Rutgers and filed the 2017-18 FAFSA, you will soon receive an email from our office directing you to view your online Award Letter. All awards are estimates and are based on the information you provided on the FAFSA.

If you did not receive an email from our office, your award is not yet ready. Check your email regularly for notification.

Viewing your Award Letter

Once you receive an email, you can view your Award Letter following these steps:

  • Visit financialaid.rutgers.edu/award.
  • Sign in using your RUID, date of birth, and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
  • Select the appropriate academic year and school.
  • Read your Award Letter carefully.

Incoming Rutgers students can find more information about the financial aid process on the incoming student portal.

Continuing Rutgers students will begin to receive Award Letter notifications in June.
