Employment Scams Targeting College Students

The Student Employment Office recommends that all students review information on Employment Scams Targeting College Students.

Students are urged to use caution when responding to job offers via email that they have not applied for, ask them to reply with personal information, or are poorly written containing spelling errors and incorrect grammar. The Student Employment Office does not release student contact information to any employers outside of the university.

If you receive an email about a job and feel that something does not seem right, we recommend that you stop all contact with that employer. Please see more information on avoiding job scams. If you have any questions, email .
