Residence Life Coffeehouse – John & Jeevat

Welcome back to another exciting installment of RU Working Wednesday! Today we will be highlighting the Residence Life Coffeehouse in Quad III on Livingston Campus! The Coffeehouse is a space for residents to study, hang out, play board games, and relax with friends. Residence Life also uses the space for programs and fun events throughout the year.

Today we had the pleasure of meeting with two student employees, sophomores John Le and Jeevat Chhatwal, who serve as Coffeehouse Assistants. John and Jeevat are responsible for making and serving various FREE beverages to residents. The Coffeehouse selection includes coffee, hot chocolate, assorted hot teas, iced tea, lemonade, and Tang. They even offer instant ramen noodles on occasion!

Jeevat’s favorite part of her job is being able to interact with a diverse group of students and brighten up someone’s mood with a free beverage. John really enjoys the flexible schedule, as late night and weekend hours are available. Both student assistants agree that the environment they work in makes them excited to come to work every day. If you’ve never been to one of the Residence Life Coffeehouse, check them out!  In addition to the Quad III Coffeehouse, there is also one located in the pathway between the North and South Towers.

Well, that’s it for this week’s highlight! We will return next week with another exciting installment!
