Submit Missing Documents Now to Avoid Delays

When you apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year, your information goes through a verification process if you are selected by the federal government or the school. Our office may request additional documentation from you in order to verify the information from your FAFSA.

You will receive email notifications prompting you to check your required documents and submit certain forms and documents. You only need to submit forms if you are being asked to do so.

You can also log in to the Document Management Program at any time to see if you have any missing documents and submit them electronically. However, there are some documents we are not able to accept through the DMP, email, or fax. Read below for more information on how you should submit certain documents.

Documents containing your Social Security numberFax, mail, or in person. To protect your information, do not send documents electronically that contain your Social Security number.

It’s important to submit all documentation as soon as possible. Your financial aid will not be awarded and/or disbursed until all required documentation has been received and reviewed by our office.

Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences students can login to to view any missing tracking requirements. Under the Financial Aid tab, select the appropriate academic year from the RBHS Financial Aid Tracking link. Read more about the student portal.

Submit documents via email (for documents without your Social Security number), fax, or in person at either office location.
